I am so guilty of not being fully present in conversations, of asking questions and not listening to the answers. The author says "...being present is a great way to love others well, but more than that, it enables us to catch notice of what God is doing."

I found the following fascinating: "...the indention over my lips and below my nose and wondering what it's function was....It's called a philtrum....Jewish mystics believe it's where the angels touch babies just before they're born to clear them of all memory of the miraculous and divine things they've been shown in utero."
