An anniversary edition, so lots of interviews and retrospectives, which don't hold as much interest to me as the stories, but they still provided some interest.

The Final Voyage of La Riaza by Jayme Lynn Blaschke
An interesting take on the pirate ship saga, even if it has been done just a few times before! An entertaining story, even if you couldn't exactly feel for any of the characters.

Heartstrings by Rachel Swirsky
Probably my favourite story of the collection. A fascinating concept that makes you extremely uncomfortable to read. But I'd like to read more set in this strange world - how did this come about? Did anyone fight it? What is society like? Compelling, in a weird kind of way.

Tearing Down Tuesday by Steven Francis Murphy
I liked this one too, even though it is really sad. But the fact that the robots are such a normal part of life is what makes this work - they're just as much a character as the humans - which is what it's all about.

Dr Abernathy's Dream Theater by David Ira Cleary
Weirdly, I don't remember a lot about this story, even though I only read it a few days ago. So there can't have been too much to it!

Preachers by Tim Lees
I liked this, but was a bit disappointed by the ending. However, it's another one that was fascinating enough that I'd have liked to know more about this world and the people who lived there.

Toke by Tim Akers
My second favourite. Made me smile and shudder at the same time. A great twist on the war against drugs!
