Well I don't know if I have had an imagination or sense of humour failure but, and I don't say this often, on this occasion I think I would enjoy the film more than the book as I understand it stars Johnny Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ewan McGregor.

Books shouldn’t have quotes comparing them to Wodehouse on the front; it only leads to disappointment! I found it amusing to start with but then the style started to grate a bit, and I stopped paying attention to the plot. I don’t think I’ll seek out the other books in the series. Thanks anyway Tanamo for giving me the opportunity to read it.
