Supposedly a retelling of Henry James's A Turn of the Screw; however, having never read the James novel, I can not comment. I can say that I enjoyed this.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
You have found a traveling book. You may leave a journal entry (anonymously, if you wish) to let me know that you have found this book. Check back in later to let us know what you thought of the book and if you plan on passing it on or 'releasing it back into the wild'.
I enjoyed The Woman in Cabin 10, so am interested to give another book by this author a try!
This is the second book I've read by this author, and I do enjoy her writing style and flair for suspense. I read this book in just 3 nights, and was engulfed in the story and the characters. I truly was baffled as to what legitimate explanations there could be for the goings-on in the house, and I definitely didn't see the twists coming.
I'm the type of person who likes novels to come to logical conclusions, or at the very least, to have all of the major questions answered. Unfortunately, that didn't happen with this book, so for me, the ending was a disappointment. Others will enjoy it.
There's more to my review, but it contains spoilers. So if you want to see it, it's on my Goodreads profile here.
I'll hang onto this book for a bit then I'll release it somewhere!
