Finally for the first time I’ve read Foundation. And I can totally see how it established the foundation (yep, I said it *lol*) for an approach to science fiction storytelling that spans eons of time, exploring the rising and falling of vast civilizations across the universe. I’ve enjoyed this book very much, perhaps not as intensely as Three Body Problem, for example, but I appreciate the importance of Asimov’s body of work and the influence it has had on future generations of writers.
