The fourth book in the Earth's Children series. This book was very good.. the situation with the S'Armunai Camp was very interesting, and unique to the other books. It was fun to have Ayla and Jondalar traveling and having adventures on their own. You also get to meet some new people, and even other Clan people!

I'd say the only downfall of this book was that it was a bit boring in places with description, and too many sex scenes. But.. those are easily skimmed over.

This book is definatly enjoyable, and you shouldn't be disappointed if you like this series.

Yikes.. I also wanted to add, that this may be released, as I want to get hardcover copies of this volume, and the 2nd and 3rd books from the series. This one is paperback, and in good condition.
