British humour can be such a hit or miss for me. But Wodehouse's Wooster and Jeeves tend to be a hit, and they were. Social mores and customs. But I have to say, at the end we don't get to know if Bertie wins the dart competition. There is going to be murder if he doesn't.

Now, this thing of Florence of wanting to marry Bertie... honestly. I couldn't believe there exists a man-child more inadequate to get married that our friendly friend Bertram Wooster.

There is also the case of the pawned pearls from the aunt, the fight for Anatole's culinary wisdom, the budgeting for the theatrical version of Spendrift, /but Wooster refuses to foot the bill/, Florence obsession with her new novel... and getting engaged with the first fish out of water that comes her way, the purchase of the aunt's loss-making magazine... and all these matters will converge onto a day and place in which Jeeves is away.
