Owls, Christmas and a good murder mystery - three of my favourite things! Most of Meg Langslow's family are helping run Owl Fest, a conference for ornithologists at a local hotel, when the snow comes down and the hotel is cut off. The ornithologists are prone to disagreements and tempers are rising over the barred owl. Of course there is a murder and Meg is right on hand to help solve it. This series is always fun and this is a good one, with plenty of owl puns.

Taken out of the Christmas Bookbox for ardachy's Owl Release challenge next year but will probably read it myself first.

I like the owl references and Percival was my favourite character. A nice easy read.
