Book 3 of the DCI Ryan series. Already suspended, Ryan is then a suspect when the body of Anna's old friend Mark Bowers in the remote church at Heavenfield. When prominent members of the satanic Circle start to be killed off, the police investigation ramps up and resources are tight, especially as even some in the force are not to be trusted. Enjoyed this.(My own picture of the cross at Heavenfield attached.)

This series just gets better and better, I read this in two days once I'd started it was difficult to put down (how important is housework anyway?). I'm already looking forward to the next book :-)

As good as the first two in the series. Exciting and one or two unpredictable twists but if you did pause a minute, you may consider some things were getting a little ridiculous, surely Ryan’s luck is running out. Nonetheless it is very enjoyable and I am looking forward to the next one.

Taking to the uncon for the book buffet. This was part of a book spiral which is going to be a raffle prize at the uncon but it was a different publisher from all the other books so I bought I new one and will add a link in the JE to the spiral so everyone can still enjoy all the reviews. Can't have one book a different size from the others. :-)
