This was Amy Tan's first novel. A great read about a Chinese American woman, her relationships with her family, in particular her mother, and the effect hearing her mother's history has on her.

Got it! Looks very interesting, I'm quite curious.
An amazing book. Liked it very much, although I hadn't read much about Chinese culture before and although, I guess, it's something like a book for women. To be released soon.
