Jessica Fletcher unwraps a deadly puzzle when she sets out to discover who killed "Santa Claus" - a.k.a her neighbour Rory Brent, who played St.Nick at the town's yearly Christmas Eve celebration.
Returned to me in the Cosy Crime Bookbox.
Another I may well read before passing on - and still clinging on to the seasonal theme too! I admit I did not watch this series on tv so new to me to read - although I have obviously heard of it.

An easily read little book. This was a fairly simplistic plot, presumably involving characters that were in the tv dramatisation. I felt that I probably missed out on nuances in this book as I had never watched the show but perhaps I am incorrect.
Sadly, for me, this was nothing startling as a story or in the writing. It probably translated better as a screen drama but I don't think I will be chasing after the series of books.
I shall pass this on in due course but for now, it is available.

Added to box for amusement. Light and easy to read, although not very much to do with Easter!
Weird, I thought on encountering these names on a book cover, and cited as authors, for surely Jessica Fletcher & Donald Bain are characters an author and her, lawyer, butler, publisher, I forget, from a TV series not actual people?
Anyhow, grateful Flutterbies9, for your five book Easter Box. As I told you I'd put it aside as a treat to open after I'd tackled some tasks & hurrah some tasks have now been tackled. AGAIN Thanks for unknowingly providing that useful incentive! EASTER EDIBLES being chomped with glee of course. 😊 Chocolate Bunny orange taste challenge completed. No clear winner for me of the two: Orange Mousse (Cadbury, Dairy Milk) and Orange Maltesers Bunny (Mars). Think the Orange Mousse was the more straightforward orange appreciation experience and the Orange Maltesers bunny a more complicated taste and texture adventure and generally way too sweet.
