This is the book behind the movie of the same title. I first saw the movie, then went on to read the book when I came across it as part of a book sale at Tronsmo, the best independent bookstore in Oslo. :-) I really enjoyed this story of a young girl taking her place in the world. Poetically written. Definitely recommend this.
