An excellent Dr. Seuss style book. A baby bird gets hatched while mother is away and goes on an adventure asking different animals and a Snort...if they were his mother. This book is the small version of this story. The print is big enough for the early reader to read it. My only complaint is that in this politically correct day and age, this book does not mention a father. But that aside, it's a great read for Mother's Day!
