Picked up almost two months ago (sorry, bad BookCrosser) to replace a copy that I lent to someone else and never got back.
Somewhat dated now, but a vastly important work at the time of its release, it was amongst the first to try to understand EDs and their sufferers. When looked at as an extreme form of self-harm, with food as the instrument, it makes a lot of sense. The dedication at the front of the book is troubling - I don't think I want to know the story there.
