Cats in Trouble Mystery #1
"Recently widowed Jillian Hart is rebuilding a life for herself and her three beloved cats - Chablis, Syrah, and Merlot - as a quilter in a small South Carolina town. The quilts she makes are for cats as smart, special, and sweet as her own, and business is thriving.
But when she returns from an overnight quilting show, she discovers Chablis sneezing - and since Chablis is allergic to humans, that can mean only one thing: Someone has broken into her house. When she realizes her Abyssinian Syrah is missing, Jillian suspects catnapping. Spurred by Chablis's and Merlot's mournful meowing, she investigates - and discovers more missing cats and a murder. Now she's got to save more than one cat in trouble - not to mention herself." (back cover)
Published by Obsidian 2009. Paperback 278 pages.

For some reason it has taken me a long time to get to this book, but when I did, it was quite entertaining. Very cat-themed with stolen cats, rescued cats, sold cats, found cats - and a murder that the police chief thought had nothing to do with cats.

First book caught on book crossing.
Picked it for the cat theme.
Although I had few nice evenings with this cozy book,I found it wasn't a thrilling thriller,I was falling asleep on each chapter.
Then travelled with this book to Israel and back to London.Although I tried to complete it till the end,it didn't happen.I was reading along other books or stories, hoping another day gets me onto this book again.
Found other murder mysteries and other cats stories waiting on list of book shelves,so I will drop it back to Little Library for it is own new chapter with a new reader.
Maybe a new reader, will give a clue on the ending of the story.
Good luck lovely cat book!
