Oh, I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I really liked how it was written and how the characters evolved during the story. And all the red herrings along the way were quite refreshing. A very good read! Thank you for sharing, Poodlesister!

My friend Elisabeth just turned 85 and I wondered if this would be a good mystery book for her. Now I see that one of the leading ladies is called Elisabeth as well, so is it an omen? Will have to read some more to find out.
For me the girl with multiple stabbings brought back the murder of my ex-workmate in 2016. Let's see how grim the book continues to be.

I'm always amazed to see how Brits renovate old churches, but it's probably because they have more churches than they know what to do with. Here I think a church is a church until it burns down and yet they build a new one to replace it.Pic: This old church hosts a Garden Museum and a cafeteria in London town.
