Contains spoilers....Another thick one, lots of information in it that doesn’t always seem necessary...Overall, an engaging story, fairly predictable though and no real twists and turns as such in this one. Things that popped into my head when reading this book, didn’t Kinsley go shopping with a character she was hired to baby sit in a previous book? Where did all those clothes go, she seems to be back to her uncreasing black dress again...in fact this has been the case for a couple of books so far too!
Cats and dogs can’t stand moles, they will dig them up but my dog put a mole down with disgust in the garden and the cats have always left them on the patio without a mark on them - I suspect they smell and a tap on the nose can kill them, I believe.
Other than the mole thing I quite enjoyed the introduction of a kitty to the story. It was quite sweet, wasn’t sure why the dr was trying to involve it in the fight but at least the kitty got to attack him.
The family on Kinsey’s fathers side was an interesting introduction- teaching us more about her background. I’m quite intrigued to find out what she’ll do with the money. (This does warn you about spoilers right?) not to mention choosing between two men that have declared an interest in her.
I’m looking forward to see if the homeless characters will pop up again in the last couple of books.....nearly done!
