Thank you so much for the wishlist book and the Penguin postcard. I will have to restrain myself from reading it before others in the queue. I did read the first line which made me laugh. Yogiberri will read this after me.

Quite depressing in parts, all the cities and towns in decline, and descriptions of some horrific architecture. I am so impressed with his insistence on eating the most disgusting food, staying in the worst hotels, driving a terrible car and listening to awful music. Very funny at times and some interesting history.

Thank you very much for this wishlist book!
I read this a while ago, and though Tim Moore's books are always very funny, and this one is too, it does also have a rather depressing side to it, showcasing the very worst of what Britain has to offer.
Still enjoyed reading it though. Thanks for sharing!

Taking this to the Falkirk Convention, just 10 miles or so up the road from one of the places featured in the book: Cumbernauld. A wishlist book for eponine38 - enjoy!
