If you, like me, have enjoyed all of the Lincoln Rhyme mysteries, you might have picked up this book by Jeffery Deaver and got a surprise. This book is certainly not a book like the Lincoln Rhyme books. I did enjoy this book about a cult in the mountain areas of Washington. It took me a couple of chapters to get into the feel of this book. I did find it a fascinating story and in the end, I had a problem in putting this book down. Give it a try and do not expect Lincoln Rhyme to show up.
