I won this book from a Goodreads giveaway. I have LOVED VC Andrews book from day one. Flowers in the Attic series was awesome, but as we all know the books have gone downhill with the ghost writer. I will say that this book is better than some of the other books of his, but still not up to having her name as the author. This kept my interest and I was genuinely interested in knowing what caused this situation to come about. The book was good enough to keep my interest, but it was a book that didn’t want me to just keep reading. It was super repetitive. Same stuff over and over. It could have been a quick easy read if they had weeded some of the stuff out. Overall not a bad book, but not a great book. I would like to read the next in the series in hopes that we learn more about Dazy’s earlier life and Saffron’s parents.
