I really enjoyed this episode in this series. The storyline was convincing and I didn't guess the result in any form. Definitely one of the best of these novels.

I've read a couple of this series previously and spent much of the day pondering whether to grab it. However, after checking out the weight of my bags at the very end, I decided there was just about room for it :-)
I've read a couple of this series previously and spent much of the day pondering whether to grab it. However, after checking out the weight of my bags at the very end, I decided there was just about room for it :-)
I maybe wasn't quite focussed enough to follow this story (in which Kinsey is hired to investigate a dead man seemed worried in the days beforehand and ends of staying in one of the world's most unfriendly small towns), but it was an interesting plot. The final climatic scene had a particularly surreal twist which I won't spoil here for future readers :-)
