I read this book because I loved the show Big Boys (which was based on this book, and the book in turn is based on his one man show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival). Although I can definitely see the link between them, they're very different. The thing they have in common is bringing awareness to mental health issues. It's hard to believe that in 2022, there's still a stigma attached to mental health but here we are. Seeking treatment for your mental health is no different from seeking treatment for your physical health, so there's no need to feel ashamed or guilty. Please don't hesitate to get help if you need it!
