I thought I'd already commented on the book, but apparently not. I read it more or less immediately after it arrived, as it really appealed to me, despite us being in the middle of a real pandemic! And I was certainly not disappointed. I enjoyed the back and forth between the two time frames, and the focus on pre- and post-pandemic. "Survival is insufficient" it says, quoting Star Trek: Voyager. And indeed this book explores what humanity is, beyond mere survival. Food for thought, and very well done. Thanks for sharing!

Station Eleven is a story of memory, nostalgia and yearning. In the words of Kirsten, one its characters: "The more you remember, the more you've lost"

I loved this book, especially for how the author chose to reveal the storyline and the connections between the different characters bit by bit, throughout the novel.

Also, I found some brilliant moments truly unique, like when the cast of King Lear is caught under the snow falling on them, or when Miranda is looking at ships while the world comes to a standstill.

Such a great read! Thanks again for sharing it @Fifna!
