Although it is dreadfully slow-paced, I was willing to go along with this story of finding your healing in a totally new place until she forced the moment of truth for the 'tragic misunderstanding" couple with a horrific act of cruelty that almost made me throw the book across the room. I perserved to the end but I hardly cared what happened.
