A romance set in Scotland that just doesn't completely work. The romantic leads both are headstrong and hiding parts of their past and it seems obvious from the start that they will get together but it takes a long time to get there and then it doesn't really feel like a relationship with much going for it. Too much of the action is carried with narration instead of the characters talking and acting and the result is a somewhat clunky story that is hard to connect with.
