I've been a member of BookCrossing for over a year now, and I love the idea. However... I find the practice a bit harder. I am a book hoarder... once I find a book I love, I keep it and re-read it over and over. I couldn't bear to part with any of these old friends. As for releasing a book I don't like on an unsuspecting population.... that doesn't seem fair, somehow.
So I was browsing in our small camp library and came upon this book, drawn first by the title, and entirely committed when I saw the BookCrossing sticker! (I am a Canadian peacekeeper, currently deployed to the Arabian Gulf region in support of Operation Athena.) After over a year of being an enthusiastic but non-participatory member of BookCrossing, I'm finally in the game.
I intend to read the book, rate it, and pass it along, preferrably while I'm still overseas, to increase the travel experiences that this lucky book will have. Thank you, stickerooni, for your release; though I do find it funny that although we live 100 kms away from one another, I caught your book on the other side of the world.

Okay, there's been a change of plans; I'm not actually going to *read* this book. I mean, I started. I tried, I really did. I'm sorry, life is just too short for poorly written books. I will release is right back where I found it, and I apologize in advance to the next person who picks it up. If nothing else comes out of it, they will have been exposed to BookCrossing, and that's a wonderful thing.
