Thank you so much for such a generous and thoughtful HGG parcel! It arrived a couple of days before Christmas so I saved it until Christmas morning to open. I felt really spoilt unwrapping it all. I read this book over Christmas Day evening and Boxing Day. This is the story of a young girl trying to make sense of the disappearance of a local man from her village in rural Wales, set during the 1950s. I really enjoyed the plot and the characters, and definitely plan to see if this author has written anything else.
