Overly long and totally predictable toward the end.

I enjoyed this read , first time reading anything from this author. She came highly recommended from many so I tried her.I'm not sorry because this story was good but it should have been great and it could have been with more follow through and tying up all the lose ends. I felt the author took her time telling the story yet at the end she rushed the Epilogue and I still wanted some questions answered. If the author would have explained and shown a more detailed follow through it would have been a great 5 star read. It seemed rushed at the end and that never adds stars to the read.For example who and what was in the email the reached out and grabbed her in the worst of ways to have made her make the decision to take her life at that moment in time? Seriously that was such a huge incomplete missed step for this author.And there were more of them .Incomplete characters Ian Bryan ,Anna etc.....How did they all work out the custody situation? Again incomplete storyline took the stars away from this read for me, not the writing.Ms.Diane Chamberlain if you ever need a Beta reader let me know because you deserve more than 3 stars for your writing you just need someone to be honest with you on some of the follow up.
