Kent and its social divisions are brilliantly captured in Deadland, a crime thriller that's as ingeniously unguessable as it is moving and powerful.
As is the way, these two strands wove backwards and forwards and came to a thrilling chase and conclusion.
Enjoyable but the mix of realistic crime and slightly farfetched spoiled it a little for me.
