Really not sure what labels to give this book. I loved the Call of Crow series and this had the same biting humor and craziness. If someone were to ask if I could enjoy a book which involves a huge proportion of fighting, I would surely say no, but just like with the Call of Crows, I could hardly put this down.
It's hard to pin down what makes it so successful, but I think it's a mix of strong characters, quirkiness and unpredictability.
A very fun read.
