"October 1991. Off the coast of Massachusetts a 'perfect' storm is brewing -- a once-in-a-century gale of such immense power and ferocity that it could not possibly be worse. Sword-fishing boat Andrea Gail and her six-man crew are returning from a month-long trip when they find themselves heading into its hellish centre. With communications down they must battle ferocious 120 mile-an-hour [193kph] winds and fearsome ten-storey waves in a desperate and terrible fight for their lives."
