Had this book for some time, finally got around to reading these 3 special edition books.
I do love the Spiderwick Chronicles, but it's been many years since I read the whole series and it was incredible to return to "The Seeing Stone" by reading these three books and it was interesting having the additional chapter at the end. This is the first book in the special editions of the second book in the series, "The Seeing Stone" where we follow on from where the first book ended. We read about them discovering goblins right up to the part where Simon gets kidnapped.
Blurb: Dear Reader,
One day, after a book signing, we received a letter. That letter changed our lives. It was from three children who claimed, "We know about real faeries. In fact, we know a lot about them."
What has happened is hard to describe. We have been plunged into a world we never quite believed in. One particular thrilling part of their tale is recounted here, along with a story that wasn't discovered until after the original Spiderwick books were published. There's much you need to know, so read carefully. There is an invisible world around us and we hope that you, dear reader, will open your eyes to it.
