Gosh I read this in December 2019 and am only registering it now. Bad bookcrosser!

When originally given to me I assumed this was standard chicklit and was pleasantly surprised to realise that it's quite different to that. (I'm not a big chicklit fan.)

It's not the best-written novel I've ever read, but it has charm. There are twists along the way - and the final one at the end is very good. A good novel for Christmas-time.

Arrived today in Co.Durham and looking forward to reading and getting into a festive mood. Thanks for sending!!

Quick and easy read over a wet cold December weekend. Im sure pre pandemic there were a lot of Lou's in the world, always rushing about, trying to be two places at once etc and it needed someone like Gabe ( clue is in the name) to show Lou what is really important in life.
However, if nothing else Covid19 has perhaps shown us to appreciate time with loved ones even more in this crazy year.
Little heart warming book , perfect for this time of year and now, go hug your loved ones.
