A Painted House

After three or four boring novels, Grisham finally did it again. This time with a great book that does not mention the word "lawyer". It is a great narration about a particular summer in the mid fifties and the memories of this seve-year-old kid. It is one of those rare books that leaves you wondering what happened with the characters after the sailed into th ehorizon. It is an wasy read and very worth thw while. (AS)
