Bought for Icila, who sent a lot of Alan Banks mystery books.
I have read "Grandmother called.." in German and was irritated by the English version of this one at first. Somehow it sounded odd. (Ha, it IS an odd book of course.) But had I not known another book by the author I would probably have stopped after a few pages. But then it turns better and better, and it is a really uplifting read in depressing times with strange actions and reactions by a lot of people during this Covid-madness.

I liked the other books from this author and was a bit disappointed at the beginning but as the story evolved I liked Britt-Mary more and more and was sad to let her go. Wherever she went.
