I'm not sure it is an *actual* 7, I think I just wish it were. This book was recommended to me by a staff member at Barnes and Noble quite some time ago. I finally got around to reading it. I really wanted to like it. I don't dislike it, exactly, but it felt very inconsistent, especially the protag. I'll check out the next in the series in hopes that the wrinkles have been ironed out. I know I didn't like the first Lucas Davenport book at all, but the later books I enjoyed. Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll happen again.
Atticus O'Sullivan is a druid living in AZ and while his neighbors think he's a sharp witted, handsome Irish 21 year old book owner, he's actually 21 centuries old. He has a sword that an old, angry Celtic god wants and after years of hounding Atticus, he's finally tracked him down. To keep the sword, and his life, Atticus will need the help of a cute bartender possessed by a Hindu witch, a seductive goddess of death, and vamps & werewolves (both of whom are also his attorneys).

The elements were there, it could have been a fun read, but Atticus was so inconsistent in who he was, his attitude etc. More character development needed.

The time is a guesstimate. Likely going to be set free between 3 and 4 pm. It will be left on the shelf with several other books; the shelf is right by the door. Grab a nice warm drink while you are there. :)
