His first adventure consisted of a search for a rare record; his second the search for a lost child. Specifically, the child of Valerian, lead singer of a great rock band of the 1960s, who hanged herself in mysterious circumstances after the boy's abduction.

Not as good as book 1 but still an enjoyable offbeat tale.
Mailed to another bookcrosser.
Thank you for sending this my way, I'm looking forward to reading this but as my TBR pile is massive it may take me a while to get to it :-)
I enjoyed this just as much as the first book in the series, a very quirky mystery and a fun read.
This is now on its way to bookgrogster as part of the UK Wishlist Tag Game, hope you enjoy it as much as I did :-)
Thanks Yorkshire-lass. Just the job while I'm keeping warm and cosy indoors!
I'm enjoying this series as I like the combination of detective work around the search for the records as well as the additional angle brought by the backgrounds of the people involved in the band. It's a bit different to the other mystery series out there, so although particularly deep, I don't feel like I am reading the same story that everyone else has already written. Thanks for sending me this one Yorkshire-lass. I will try and get it travelling again soon.

Released 1 yr ago (8/22/2022 UTC) at Filmhouse Cinema in Edinburgh, Scotland United Kingdom
WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Set free at the newly resurrected Filmhouse Cinema OBCZ. Happy reading!
Picked up from the obcz bookshelf whilst at the first post-covid Old Gang Meetup. I really shouldn't have as this is number 3 and I've not sourced yet alone read the first two yet....but this is a series that is constantly recommended to me by friends and fellow fans of Ben Aaronovitch, so maybe it will spur me on to get the first found and read.
Thank you
