I found a great deal on a bunch of Beatrix Potter books at a local charity shop, so I am registering a bunch of them to bookcross!

My parents gave me a box set of hardcover editions of these little books for my first Christmas, and they were favourites of mine growing up. I am excited to have found this deal and to be sharing some old favourites with the world!

I might try to read this again for old times' sake before I let it go :)

While my husband was napping this evening, I re-read a few of these Beatrix Potter books so they'd be available to me for an upcoming release challenge celebrating the Lunar New Year-- the Year of the Rabbit begins later this month, so I'm looking for "rabbit" books that I've got around. It was strange to re-read these books as an adult, they're maybe sort of darker than I remembered them, but I think they're reflect either reality or the time in which they were written, depending on the instance in question. This one seemed like a sad and strange story, but I think I remember liking it and its pictures when I was small because this one in particular involves so many of the characters from the other stories in the set of books.

I'm not sure exactly where/when I will release this book, but it's ready to go now!

Released outside of the Waterloo location of Red Ginger in celebration of the Lunar New Year (because it's the Year of the Rabbit this year and the book has a rabbit on the cover). I left it prepped against the window right next to the door, in a red bag to protect it from the snow!
