The Wicked + the Divine: Volume 1: The Faust Act
2 journalers for this copy...
I accidentally ended up with two copies of this after moving. I'm pretty sure what happened was that I lent one out, assumed I had given it away when I was heavily weeding pre-move, and bought a replacement copy. Then I found the other copy in a box of shared household books! So one of them is going to resume traveling.
I wrote a review of this not too long ago: HERE and my opinion is basically the same. Sadly, Image Comics stopped selling digital comics directly, and I don't want to buy from Amazon-run comiXology, so I was not able to read the last several volumes until they got released as trade PBs.

I'm claiming this softcover from the Halloween bookbox. I'd read another volume in this series, Commercial Suicide, and wanted to see what the first volume was like!
Later: While I did enjoy seeing some of the introductory action here, this volume didn't blow me away - though there are some choice bits. And the concept of gods reincarnated as Hot Young Things from widely diverse racial/ethnic backgrounds was quite fun, even if many of them still come across as entitled narcissists {wry grin}.
