2000 Signet paperback of the 1987 conclusion of the epic North and South Trilogy. I found this copy some weeks ago in the Pinehaven Little Free Library.
I can let this go after I read:
1972 Stranger with Roses (screen play) [read 2021]
1982 North and South [read 2021]
Edit December 6, 2021: This was good, but I just skimmed to end for time. It runs very long. There is a nice Afterword, with stuff that could not get published in Woke today. I currently have this ranked at #6552 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
