My first Clare Mackintosh book I've read and I definitely want to read more by her. Be forewarned there is violence and abuse in this story. A couple of twists I never saw coming blew me away.

Good book. I was hooked almost immediately and stayed up late reading until the end. I loved the twists -- did not see those coming, though there was a little bit about one that was pretty trite. The beach setting was wonderful. I would love to live in a secluded cottage like that!
I hope to read more by this author.
