I have been wanting to read this for years, but I felt like I had my fill of WWII fiction, so I kept putting it off. However, I came across this copy at a library book sale and when I read the inside cover I couldn't believe it. It's a quote from the book:

"I wonder how the book got to Guernsey? Perhaps there is some secret sort of homing instinct in books that brings them to their perfect readers."

How could a Bookcrosser NOT read this book?! I'm going to put it closer to the top of my TBR pile, then wild release it.

I tried, and could only read 25 pages before giving up....maybe it's because I read so much WWII historical fiction years ago that I can no longer stay interested in the genre. I know this book has many fans, so I am going to wild release it with the hope the the finder enjoys it. Happy travels!
