Last of the series, picked up to read before releasing.
Like all books for younger readers that I register, this is done in memory of Becky, the daughter of a dear friend and fellow bookcrosser, ResQgeek, who was tragically killed in August 2010.

A satisfying conclusion to the series that resolves most stories in as realistic a manner as a series about a battle between the Titans and the Greek Gods taking place in midtown Manhattan can. I can't pick a favorite character between Tyson and Grover. And I am struck by the way the series speaks to the sense of alienation in teens. For those who struggle with dyslexia and ADHD, they can wonder if they might be demigods. And for anyone with absent parents, disinterested parents, or just crappy parents, they can see that it happens to even great heroes who save the universe.
Took this with me to meet-up and it went home to someone else.

I'm working my way through the series, will hang onto until I'm at book 5.
