I'm a sucker for Apollo stories. A massive effort, incredibly difficult and dangerous, but also incredibly exciting and spectacular.
Perhaps the best parts of any story are the characters, and Apollo was far from short of characters. Gene Cernan fits in well with the better-known astronauts, and he tells his tale here.
Fifty years, and humanity has not returned to the Moon. Maybe they never will. Grab this book and read it!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Left in the foyer bookshelves.
Enjoyed this book. Yet another "I went to the moon" story, but each one has a different perspective, a different trajectory, a different look at familiar events.
