Picked up in a charity shop in Richmond N.Yorks

I hadn’t read the prequel The Passage so had missed the story of Amy. Luckily,or not as it turned out, it has been made into a tv series which filled in a few gaps. I really wanted to like this book but it grated in parts. Perhaps I’ll revisit it when I read The passage.
