This is right up my street. Thank you for sending it and all the other lovely things.
I'm less than halfway through this book but I have to say how much I'm enjoying it. It's bringing back so many happy memories of my cycling holidays as a child. First I was in a sidecar on my parent's tandem, then a seat on the back and finally my own bike. We cycled all over Wales.
I had to laugh at what he packed. We took two complete changes of clothes and not much else. Anyway, back to reading it.

I loved this book . It made me laugh out loud in some places and I learnt a lot. Having done cycle tours as both a child and adult I have had similar experiences and experienced kindness from strangers. I have a small complaint, there were no photos. He often said he took a photo as if taunting me,
