I "caught" this book during our lovely meet-up in The Booklet, because I discovered I liked thrillers and such pageturners and this one looked interesting. Thank you again, the booklet aka thriller-mum, for your hospitality, it was great fun! Hope to see you again sometime!

I'm taking this book with me on my visit to my parents in a clinic in Marseille, France and plan to read it before releasing it to my father. If he leaves it behind in Marseille, I'll make a release note as soon as possible, otherwise he'll probably take it home with him.

It was an ok book, but I wasn’t too satisfied with the plot. The story picks up speed almost immediately and the characters and their history are not really introduced. It starts out as a type of thriller, but once the "bad guys" have been identified more or less (it wasn’t too clear for me if the explanation given halfways was the final one or if that theory would be negated; I found it a little too simple for a thriller), the writer describes too long how the relationship between the main characters -Ramsey, Emma and Molly- evolves, it’s too much handholding, hugging, kissing etc., way too of that stuff!

All in all, I probably wouldn’t recommend this book, though it’s an ok holliday read. I left it for my dad to read during his hospitalization and recovery in Marseille. He will probably take it with him to Corsica and give it back to me :-)
