Another excellent Joanna Brady/Cochise County mystery. 😊

I really love this series, not just because they are good mysteries, which they are, but also because I lived in Cochise County and know the locales, and because I like the characters and enjoy watching how their lives progress from book to book. But I read books as they come to me, not as they are ordered in series; I pick this one up at a county library sale a couple of weeks ago, and see that I’ve missed several years in Sheriff. Brady’s life LOL

I have to add one thing that really bugged me: the balloon release. Both Jance and her characters know better. Balloons are incredibly detrimental to wildlife and should never ever be released!!

I sent this off to Yellowstone with my granddaughter, who also loves this series. A busy woman, I don’t know when she’ll get to it, but I know she’ll enjoy it. I did tell her to either pass it off to another party or feel free to wild release when she’s done.
Hopefully one of these days it will check in again 😉
