I read Angels and Demons and discovered that you really have to slog through the first 100-150 pages of Dan Brown and then it picks up!
Back cover says something about NASA making a discovery in the Arctic Ice and the only person to identify it is Rachel Sexton, our heroine. And soon she and scholar Michael Tolland are being ambushed by assassins.
It'll probably be after page 200 or something.
