I read this book years ago and I remember enjoying it a lot. It's due for a re-read, though I probably won't have time for at least another half-year or more. I'll be keeping this book for now.

I've promised to give this book to Miss-Efficiency so that she can release it in South Africa. I'm going to re-read it before releasing it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It's interesting that it's set in Toronto and I liked reading all the references to my city. Zenia is almost a storybook character, she's so evil. I like the synthesis of Tony's, Roz's and Charis' perceptions of Zenia and reading their stories. A fun read.

Received from wordfiendca at last Tuesday's meetup. I intent to release this book at the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg.

I read a different copy of this book a year or two ago one night when I was up all night because I was sick with food poisoning or something. I liked it a lot. I especially liked the character Tony, which is a diminutive woman who is an academic specializing in warfare. I often think of this book when I see the ferries going to a from Toronto Island, since one of the main characters in The Robber Bride lives there.

Well I took this all the way to the summit, and ended up bringing it all the way home again. The only place I had an opportunity to release it was at Rockey's, the hostel where I was staying. I already released about a dozen books there, so I decided to bring it home again ,and release it next month at the Oakville Green meeting, when Margarent Atwood comes to speak to us.

Released on Thursday, September 26, 2002 at 370 King Street West (Peter St) in Toronto, Ontario Canada.

Drat, my ride backed out at the last minute, so I couldn't get to Margaret Atwood's lecture. I'm releasing it in an alternate location instead.

Left it on a table in the BTI Canada employee lunch room.
